So we had a battle class assignment recently, the teacher wanted us to practice battling with hoops...or was it dancing with hoops...maybe it was both? Either or, I'm not very good at any of those things. I haven't even touched a hula hoop since I was little! Even then I couldn't make the hoop spin. My arms were too short, in fact all of me was rather short so it kept falling off. It's a little bit embarrasing but Battle Class is my worst subject, I've never been good at battling. So before I actually started to battle...or dance...or whatever the teacher wanted us to do, I figured it would be a good idea to practice with the hoopd. Try and get used to it so I don't shoot off any wayward bolts of lightning at anybody.

Levi seemed to be having a much better time twirling the hoops than I did. He even managed to get four hoops twirling at once! I suppose being 6'5'' makes these things a little easier...plus having four legs probably helps...cheater. Anyway, I was still rather...skeptical about the whole thing to be honest, but I decided to give it a go regardless. Just as I thought, the hoop kept on falling down. Sucking it up I decided to try again until an idea popped into my head. What if I could use my electricity to keep the hoop hovering around me? If so, then I could use my Static to keep it afloat while jumping and running about! And what do you know? It actually worked! My moment of victory was short lived, as just as I was getting the hang of it, I heard Levi cry out.

Looking up I saw that the silly spider had managed to get himself tangled up in all the hoops he was playing with! Don't ask me how...Levi has a knack for getting himself into tricky situations. Let's call it a part of his charm. I will admit, my first reaction was laughter. In fact I was laughing so hard that I couldn't even get up to help him out of his little...predicament. So he was just sitting there, wriggling, trying to get himself free and I was just laughing my rump off. Of course I did eventually help him out, after all we did have an assigment to complete...but it did take a while before I could stand up properly though. I'll have to make it up to him tonight, perhaps I could cook him his favourite meal?

Istella, you aren't a very good girlfriend if all you're gonna do is laugh at your poor spider boo.
He's all tied up like some hula hoop pretzel and you're not even helping.
