September 2009 I was given a batch of axolotl eggs by the science staff at highschool, they figured if I was able to nurse one of their fish back to health I'd have better luck than them with hatching these eggs. Since then I've had three axolotl siblings under my care. Ghost died about three years back during a really tough heatwave and Gigs died three weeks ago over Easter, leaving their sister by her lonesome now (it's not so bad, she was always kind of a loner compared to the other two).

RIP in axolotl heaven, may it be filled with lots of wriggly worms and tiny fish to nom on :'>
