Name: Opal
Age: 23
Occupation: Pokemon Psychiatrist

History: After losing her job as a Ranger, she didn't have the qualifications anymore to call herself a vet or ranger, so she decided to become a self proclaimed Pokemon psychiatrist. Since the first PCBC she has wandered around helping both captive and wild Pokemon overcome their problems and live happier lives but along the way she's accumulated Pokemon that needed more than a simple therapeutic checkup which has led to her having a team of "misfit" Pokemon.

Personality: Although she is friendly and emotive around Pokemon, easily making faces and talking to them (she can't actually talk with them, she can only guess by their reactions, etc. But she's good at it. ) she does a 180 when taking to people. Coming off as very stoic and blunt, she usually keeps her thoughts to herself when around others, causing awkward silences when meeting new people. She eases up and talks a little more around the people she knows but until then, she barely answers questions with as short as possible answers.

Appearance: Upon entering PCBC, she slouches a lot, causing her fringe and beanie to cover most of her face. Usually during battle and interacting with Pokemon she has a more confident, stiff stance. She's not a very touchy-feely person so keeps her distance from people (but once again, not with Pokemon).

POKEMON

Boltblast the Pichu holding Focus Sash [Female]
Attacks: volt tackle, charge beam, magnet rise, reversal
Appearance: The left ear is split into two from the tip to the middle section from a past, intense battle, though a red sash is wrapped around the mid-section. A little taller and scruffier than normal Pichus due to its age.
Personality: Highly antisocial and aggressive. This Pichu has never been to evolve due to its depressed behaviours. Even though it has been with Opal the longest and possibly holds the biggest potential, it tends to give up during battles when not motivated or encouraged.

Chrysalis (Chrys) the Paras [Female]
Attacks: leech seed, seed bomb, brick break, venoshock
Appearance: Although at first it seems like a normal looking Paras (although a little bigger due to its age), upon closer inspection it's outer shell is infested with fungi, causing it to have 'splotches' of darken colours on parts of its pincers, body and face. It also has a blank look on its eyes at all times.
Personality: The fact that Paras holds a fungal parasite is often overlooked when people evolve theirs, however, this Paras has held off evolution as it contains a lot of willpower against its parasitic host. This causes the Pokemon to be incredibly persistent in battle.

Mrs P the Pinsir [Female]
Attacks:strength, fury cutter, protect, stone edge
Appearance: A normal Pinsir but with sharpened horns.
Personality: Pinsirs have been rare for a reason. This Pinsir has had its children taking away for use of Bug Catching competitions and mate killed from the stress of being shipped into a Safari Zone, leaving a very upset mother. She has a lot of troubles hurting younger/smaller opponents though the more menacing they are, the more fierce she becomes. She works well in a team, being very protective and selfless to her teammates.

Deedoe the Dodrio [Male]
Attacks: drill peck, hyperbeam, roost, echoed voice
Appearance: This Dodrio has 2 heads, not 3. Once an alpha to a flock of its species, it lost both its supremacy, centre head and confidence in a battle. The right head has a shorter crest than the left.
Personality: A once confident Dodrio has been reduced to a shy and easily embarrassed bird. The left head takes on a more aggressive personality, while the right is more passive and calculating. If they learned to get over their loss and work together, they may become a formidable opponent.

Butterfeathers the Chatot [Female]
Attacks: ominous wind, chatter, pluck, mimic
Appearance: A very rugged Chatot. The ends of its crest, the back of its head, and the shape of its tail is jagged and unkept. It also keeps a very mischievous look in its eyes.
Personality: A Chatot up to no good, all the time. After running away from its original owners, it joined a gang of Murkrows and overtook their Honchkrow as boss. It's sneaky and plays dirty, enjoying tricking others and getting the upper hand. Due to its past as being a caged bird, it has a hard time trusting humans, although loves bossing around other Pokemon.

Frucas the Cherrim [M]
Attacks: sunny day, solar beam, nature power, weather ball
Appearance: A short Cherrim with a sharper look to its petals, and a sinister face.
Personality: A child with ADHD in Cherrim form. Being extremely hyper and constantly causing mischief, it loves annoying others and is always seen biting something or running off somewhere or in circles. It's suggested that the sugar it produces from photosynthesis gets put into making energy rather than growing.

Izzle the Flygon [M] -RESERVED-
Attacks: dig, rock tomb, heatwave, silverwind
Appearance: Antennae bent at the tip, and a more clawed toe.
Personality: Izzle remembers PCBC from when it was a Vibrava 7 years ago, and has since then gave up on battling. Being very irritable and arrogant, this Flygon has refused to be entered into the tournament. But perhaps along the way it might change its mind?
