~petalmist21 kindly requested me to do a tutorial of how I paint cats and I was just about to work on an epic fight picture, so here you go!

I saved all the steps of my painting that could be relevant. Yes, I do the fur way too detailed and yes, there are artists who shade with a soft brush only, but I like the way I do it :3

Hopefully this will be helpful. And don't despare if yours won't look too good at first. Patience is the key as the people from my livestream can tell XD And it's worth it in the end!

Just remember to shade a lot and look at photos, references, everything that may help.

I used Photoshop CS4 and a tablet to paint! I did not use any grass or fur brushes.
