Glinda the Good, from the novel and musical Wicked, which I'm still reading. I love the book, though it's a little complicated for me. I'm reading it in English and I am Dutch. But still, I think it's lovely.Inspired by the lovely artwork of Alfons Mucha, I drew Glinda. I love Kristin Chenoweth as her, and I really really really want to see the Broadway version! It's a pity I live so far
They should bring the musical here!Done with pencil, darkened in Corel Painter. My scanner is still dumb, so otherwise you don't see anything.
Yes, I have the old version in my scraps. I just made her legs longer, her face different and add a background. She is still not finished yet, but under construction, haha!

Well, you must have been thrilled when you heard that Wicked was coming to the Netherlands, right? Chantal Janzen will be playing the role of Glinda, though. I don't really like that girl:/
And somehow this dress reminds me a bit of Disney. Love it!

I'll admit, I'm not the greatest fan of Wicked and the Book, but this picture is mind blowing. The detail from the dress really caught my eye from the menu, and seeing that you drew this with pencil is pretty epic. I also just love how the background flows with Glinda. So, I salute you for your amazing picture.

oh my gosh, this is amazing! you are so good. and the background actually kind of looks like the background that they play has... =d I read the book too, but I prefer the musical. kristin is my favorite galinda to ever take the part! she is amazing. once again, AMAZING job!

Rawr. I can't figure out what color to do her dress! So I'm doing to versions: One where the skirt it a beautiful, light sky-blue, and another where the skirt is (white or silver, haven't decided which) and sparkles. Yes, SPARKLES. I'm having so much fun! Thanks for saying yes!

Gah, I know! So many possibilities with it! I love that about it, though. Blue and pink I immediately though of, but I didn't want to make it pink. Not sure why, though. Haha. But I knew that I was gonna do the plants and art nouveau circle in emerald green shades, so I knew the blue would pop. And, for mine, lightgreen would kinda blur her with the background

You're welcome. Yeah, I try to check out the scraps if I really like a persons gallery. That's why I never put anything into my scraps; many people wouldn't look at them! So I'll probably make a folder in my gallery called 'Should Be in Scraps'
