Some really quick and messy an art for TES V: Skyrim. (I will probably hate this in the morning, but so far, me being tired of revision and stuff, it looks kinda OK 
So. Aedmar, my Altmer sorcerer, has been adventuring with Brelyna Maryon for a while, and is starting to warm up towards her. Soon enough, this warmth grows into a persistent desire to woo her – and, to Aedmar’s utmost horror, even bed her. These new, semi-forgotten feelings, leave the poor fellow utterly disoriented. He did attempt to show his affection to his first wife, a couple of centuries ago, but nothing good came of it, as he was young and naïve and hero-worshipped the Thalmor, which the then Mrs. Aedmar did not approve of.
Now he is trying to start from scratch – but as he has no idea what to do (and is utterly mortified by it), he is hoarding every book he can find that even remotely concerns romance… and gets so absorbed in his revision that he does not notice Brelyna sneaking up to check on him (wakened by his frustrated cries).
I dunno if the books Aedmar is reading are visible, but they include: The Real Barenziah, Ashland Hymns, The Warmth of Mara, Seduction for Dummies (that’s my own invention), Daggerfall Convent (a saucy Dunmer adventure, as written by Cassandar Curio and illustrated by theshieldofoak.deviantart.com/… ).
The book he has opened in front of him is presumably an account of the romantic misadventures of ’s Saryn and ’s Jendar, at the times of Molag Bal’s invasion into Tamriel. More info here: slayersyrena.deviantart.com/ar…

Dawwwwww Aedmar!!! <3 <3 What an impossibly adorable darling!! xD He's trying so darned hard and he doesn't realize how easy things are when a Dunmer is in the mix! ;D I dare say she could teach him all he'd ever need to know! x)
I just love this idea of the older fellow trying to 'get back in the flow of things' to make his young lady friend happy! It's really precious, and even more so because: Aedmar. Grumpy, scarred, and stern...but so full of squishable loveyness. x) And, omg, how you drew him...

I love his tilted head and the way his fingers ruffle up his gorgeous locks. I always have an immense amount of trouble when drawing faces at that angle! But you completely and utterly nailed it!! And the shading on his bunched up sleeve, the light hatch marks where his hand shades his forehead....these details are so beautifully done- every time I look at it I think: line-art photograph. Seriously- it's really realistic!! 
Brely! You'd best be careful sneaking up on the old man while he's studying! I highly doubt he'd be too excited about anyone being in the know of his 'homework'. xD Her silhouette is so dainty and cute; those delicate little fingers just barely brushing his arm! And the books!! xD Well, I must say he did some thorough initial research...picked out a good handful of reading material! xD As an addition, I might recommend Boethiah's Pillow Book. It's short and concise and VERY instructive. ROFL! Thanks for including the other Curio's famous work!

Eee, thank you so much for giving your love to that poor, clueless little thing! I do have a more or less coherent narrative of his 'first try' with Brelyna formed inside my mind - this is going to be the first time that the young Dunmer will see Master Aedmar truly, genuinely afraid.

I am rather happy with how his nose turned out - but I am still not sure about the chin and mouth. I did try to use a reference, though. Funnily enough, I found the right picture under the 'writer's block' category. 
I also seem to have thing for almost touching fingers.
Something tells me he actually grabbed the whole Eol series.
