From the pages of Green Lantern and Green Lantern Corps from DC comics.Saint Walker is from the Blue Lantern corps representing Hope.
Miri is from the Star Sapphires representing Love.
This was a request for another Deviantart user via her LJ. I liked Miri when she first appeared since she seemed to be a saner Star Sapphire with a better take on Love rather than most of the rest which came across creepy. Also the fact her outfit wasn't stripperific helped as well.
Did not like her last appearance since she joined the "love makes you crazy" brigade.
Hopefully DC will get their act together on this one.

Yeah, I wasn't fond of her last appearance either. Considering Bedard wrote it and is also writing New Guardians... I guess I should be thankful she's not on that team, heh.

I think the problem is that they have made some Star Sapphires sympathetic (Carol, Miri) but also wanted the Sapphires to be antagonists as well in case they want to have them fight. It was a disservice to the character
You can't really have your cake and eat it as well.
Either make them more uncertain, or chose a side. Or in my opinion, have each ring have mental drawbacks when using them. For instance, love my make you act all irrational and intense. Willpower makes you detached and slightly more authoritarian.
