Howdy!!!
I didn't have anything in my files for January and I didn't want to dig up my flash drive so it's blank :'D Personally I like October, May, and March the most! Also, I didn't include all of them because I had multiple for each month, but I had SO MANY SHUI DRAWINGS THIS YEAR IT WAS UNREAL

This year has been crazy for me!! I feel like I felt very disconnected with my art for the first half of the year, and I didn't know what my style was or how I wanted to draw things, so Feb - May feels very odd to me....I do like some of the pieces that came out of that time! But I feel like I was in a rough patch on where I wanted to go art and style wise. *___* I'm much happier with how the second half of the year went! I feel like I've begin to find my style, how I want to tackle bigger illustrations(ie not lining the whole bg), and how to shade things!!! I also think I found a line art style I'm ok with(something smooth and crisp) and I started to experiment with line weight and a kind of ""sketchy""" shading?? Which I love, and I'm hoping to develop that more! And I want to continue trying to improve on using color in shading and backgrounds because though I feel I've improved, I still have a huge way to go with using color in shading and backgrounds *___*""

GOALS FOR NEXT YEAR:
- BE ABLE TO DRAW A GOD DAMN CAT LOAF POSE
- Draw decent pine trees and foliage
- Find a way to add more depth in my backgrounds
- Create more intriguing and diverse backgrounds/scenes (mine generally look the same??)
- Sketch more/do daily draws because I need to work on certain subjects/poses(especially humans and odd poses)
- Less chibis, more full bodies and illustrations

Generally I think I did a good job on getting into a style I like and working on shading + getting into color this year, and I'd like to improve on that more next year!! It's a bunch to tackle but I wanna try to improve the most I can.....only time will tell I guess!!

On a side note, I'm also happy with how I've come as a person! I feel like there was a dramatic change and I feel like it's because I've met so many new people and found a new group of friends that influenced me so much!! (big thanks to Twitter and Instagram for that) And I've also started to try and overcome some of my anxiety with people :'D I'm just?? Really happy with how this year turned out for me, especially these last few months. I hope I can grow some more in 2017!
