It's time to do the 2020 summary of art! It feels like it was only yesterday that I was filling out 2019's one QvQ

♦ Some stuff I guess:
- Did a lot more worldbuilding for my personal project, but not enough! I want to do MORE
- Didn't paint enough "polished" stuff like July, August, September, and November's pieces, but I did do a lot more quick painting!
- Finished a 4-5 episode short story on Webtoon! I'm really proud of myself for managing to finish it!
- Recently learned how to photobash! 2021's art is gonna be wild now B)
- Applied and was considered for a position as a lighting assistant on a featured Webtoon! Didn't end up making the cut, but I got to see how some stuff works behind the scenes re: webtoon format, processes, etc
- Got a little better at cinematic lighting!
- Got a new comp that allows me to work on larger canvases at a higher DPI, so most of my working canvases went from being in the 2000px range at the highest to 8000px at the highest
- Switched to CSP from SAI/CS6 in late July/August, so my work from Auguest onwards was in CSP (and will continue to be!)
- Not really pictured here, but I've been drawing people so much more!! I'm excited to draw them now and I have so many doodles and drawings of them on my comp lol. They're all Aria and Nik: shocking

Pretty happy with what I've done so far this year despite everything that went down! I liked what I did in the second half of the year more, and if I had to choose a favorite, it would be November's piece, but August and September's are close contenders.

♦ Goals/things I want to do next year:
- More polished pieces
- Get better at photobashing
- Get better with texture and color
- Draw even MORE people & show that art more
- Do another short story on Webtoon. I want to do a story with Seren and Nid and I've been doing some concept art for it already >:3c
- A huge goal for next year is to really focus on sharing and drawing worldbuilding stuff, like concept art, more scenes, character sheets, etc, I've been having so much fun brainstorming it but now I need to DRAW it

WELL ok that's it! Here's to 2021 :> Hopefully it's more chill than this year lol
