If anyone was wondering how big cireks are compared to humans here’s the answer. Big enough to f*ck you up. The cirek in the drawing is female, males tend to be a bit bigger still.

Cireks fighting strategy usually rely on getting the (sometimes literally) jump on the opponent, using agility and momentum combined with claws, fangs and a vicious attitude.

The dude is just a random dude. In random clothes. You may have noticed the small tuft of hair decorating the guy’s hip. Is it a trophy from a previous hunt? a talisman for good luck? not sure it’s working out for him… maybe it’s just horse hair fastened to a fancy clasp.

I'm trying out a bit of a different rendering style in order to save time but also because I'd like a bit more rough finish. I've basically just skipped the inking and just refined the sketch til I was happy enough to use it as the final lineart. It's not like it's a major change but clean inked lineart has been such a staple for my old regular style that I feel a bit weird about this but I think I like the result.
