Cireks are not quite noble and wise fantastical beasts, they're indeed intelligent but that doesn't compromise their vicious nature as opportunistic predators. The cirek in the picture is not evil, just hungry.

I'm currently having an issue of possibly redesigning the cireks' markings because, like in this case, I often find them interfering too much with the form and expression (face and body-wise). It simply looked better without the original stripes in this picture.
