It was a nice change of pace. Kitbashing the outfits and hair were a bit of a pain but think I got it pretty close.
I liked the manga enough to read all 19 chapters of the first series and 20 of the second in one sitting. I do wish they would come up with a better definition of the term though. Too many people think its yuri and it isn't. The dark haired one is naive and totally clueless and Sayuri is the normal one that acts as the straight man. What made it funny, the humor kept coming out of left field lol.

I am not watching much anime right now either. Not many good ones this season. Actually a lot the manga has been more about finding ideas for renders. Some of them almost get me tempted back to traditional art.

Actually I would love to do something like the opening to Chivalry of the Failed Knight. The anime sucked but the opening made great use of black and white with splashes of red.

Well you know I love Black and white. Looks 2019 anime list won't be too bad . Hopefully they won't screw up the 3rd season of Railgun and 1st season of Accelerator like they did 3rd season of Index. Also doing an anime of the Chinese knock off of Kancolle , Azur Lane. Doesn't look that bad and at least they were smart and did an English version of their game vs Kancolle.

Was supposed to have been a new Macross series for this year but it didn't happen... instead they did the movie version of Delta...

Yeah I had heard it was supposed to have been a continuation of Frontier not Delta. Oh well we just get to suffer through the hormone imbalances of those you liked Delta better.

Yeah I saw that and why I am annoyed we are getting nothing. Well we shall see. The Macross and Index franchises probably have the biggest appeal of the older ones and maybe they are delaying because of Index having so much coming out to increase views and sales.

Macross is certainly one of the longest running and I hope we do see a new series soon... I need something new in Macross to wash the taste of Delta off my pallet...

We all do. At least the songs were better in Frontier. That is the only thing that worries me about a new one.. the main focus will be music and not story.
