(It starts with one)One thing I don't know why
It doesn’t even matter how hard you try
Keep that in mind, I designed this rhyme
To explain in due time

time is a valuable thing

What it meant to me will eventually be a memory of a time when I tried so hard

i find it interesting how both Mufasa and Scar met their end in similar ways. for example, both characters made the same facial expression once their fate was realised - wide eyed, open mouth, look of shock and horror etc. but the thing i found most interesting was the circumstance in which they met their death - Betrayal! Both characters were betrayed by the person/people they trusted most, Mufasa of course was betrayed by his only brother, and Scar was betrayed and eaten by his only friends. Talk about cruel irony XD

Im very confused with scars backstory. People are saying that he got his scar from his father because he was fighting with mufasa, then the only one that understood him was his mother THEN the love of his life left him. WHile I have the book it shows that Scar made a plan to get mufasa hurt or something (Haven't read that book sense 2012) by water buffalo. Then his plan backfired, he got hit by the the water buffalo then resulted in his scar and yada yada yada. So are the books non-canon?

The books weren't even made by anyone on the movie's production team or from Disney
They were written by someone else and Disney only put their name on it for merchandising, so nothing from those books are official, just someone's fanfiction
I personally don't like the books, they come off pretty weak to me

I watched a video about Scar. Apparently he used to be known as Taka, and was sort of neglected as a cub, hence the gangly, thin body. His father loved Mufasa much more, because of his large and muscular body and level-headed demeanor. Meanwhile, Taka (Scar) was practically the exact opposite of Mufasa. One day, out of fury and sorrow, Taka fought with Mufasa and got him a good gash. His father was extremely angry at Taka (Scar), and took him away and gave him the scar. The love of his life left him. His mother, the only person - or in this case, lion - who understood him, died shortly after. At that time, Taka (Scar) changed his name to Scar and told everyone to call him that from there on out. On the comments, someone said that they should've had Mufasa say something like, "Taka, no!" as he was murdered by Scar, and then make him have some sort of recognition - surprise, anger, sudden sadness and remorse. I feel like Scar deserves a backstory like that. It makes him hard to hate, but some people might want to know.

First of all, Mufasa and Scar are not related, and second of all, Scar was not eaten, he was clawed and stabbed to death, and the hyenas were not his friends, Scar was just using them to help him take control of Pride Rock until his real plan, to become an American terrorist, He was going to kill them and the lions anyway, the only reason the hyenas turned against him was because Scar confessed to killing and raping 2 male hyenas.

Of course we can, you are a little correct, my story is not a fanfiction or a take on, it is part of an idea I have for a lion king remake that I hope Disney will make someday.
