I'm really happy with how this came out. All my previous drawings of Greyfinch were terrible, so I decided to set that right. You have no idea how many times I redrew those wings, I kept on ordering the feathers wrong. And the shading....

I also experimented with coloring the lineart, you can't really tell but I colored it lighter near the light source. I also changed his eyecolor a bit, made it wider to look more like a bird. Plus I'm changing his design a bit, mostly everything is the same except I'm gonna make his hind legs bird feet. (Which you can't see here because they're tucked under his body. Also the fur covering the top of his wings is gone and is just plain feathers now.

You can tell that I haven't been in the mood for backgrounds lately, sorry! I promise to change it up next time, that gradient has to be getting old.
