Description Random greyscale practice! Wanted to do a floofbutt so I drew a floofbutt. I kinda like him, so I'm gonna keep him. Click for full clarity!

Edit: Dammit I forgot to color the nails.

The details are spot on!
The bnw feel is real!
Also, the shading is excellent!
Great Work!

Thanks! And I'll keep what you said in mind, I've had other people say I need to work on that.

Looking great! But you might want to get more highlights and shadows, if you look at it, the whole thing doesn't have too much contrast(basically most of it has the same value), so it might be wise to play around with it a bit more, maybe creating more shadows where the light doesn't hit the dragon? Otherwise it's an awesome piece, I really like it, keep up the good work!

Thank you! I know, I need to work on my shading but for some reason I'm kind of scared that making the shading too harsh will ruin the picture, and keep out some of the details. I'll try harder to get in more contrast next time!

Well, nothing can go wrong if you experiment a bit! You can always make it on a different layer and just delete it if it doesn't go to well. Don't be scared to experiment, it's a very important part of improving!
