Description
Very original I know but I was suddently really unhappy with the way I paint skies, and wanted to play around with colors a bit. This is just color blotches, some pure and many transparent, in a horizontal disposition. I then blended the colors using the finger tool. This is, however, more of a color practice than a shape practice (I very badly need to do the second thing!), hence the extreme simplicity (and lack of overall shape in the clouds!). I really like smokey blues.

I was looking at the photos from my last beach trip and there's some ultra nice cloud shapes... may upload a few to scraps later, in order to use hem a reference to some much needed cloud practise later. This one, however, was painted from scratch. Hence the "all lines" texture, haha. It took about 40 mins.

May scrap it later ^^ And, new Awka page tomorrow!
