the first house along the bank is no longer privately owned ..the beckley museum is now in that house ..you can't see it but on the right-side of the river there is a beautiful home that belongs to the owners of a big farm ..you need to drive over that bridge that goes to iron trail and hang a left onto their private drive ...i have a pic of that house somewhere here on da but you are right Linda its just wonderful here ..the whole time i was there the sound of the water was so soothing my dear friend lol

haha maybe 20 years ago i'm lucky to be up by 11am these days lol tho i would not mind owning a farm where i could allow my neighbors let use my land for more space for extra crop space and or cut and remove hey from my fields cause you can never have enough hay for livestock  but for a price of course
