haha if you noticed i didn't get to far away lol but look how small my suv is to the furnace and just image the big ass very hot fire that was melting the ore or think about how hot it must have been working there i bet many passed out poor bastards it was a hazardess job and i bet they were paid very poorly in those days ...talk about some unhappy spirits around here muwwaaaah !!! hey lets go there on all hallows eve  no lets not

Not too far, but far enough; your car looks small that's how I know. And now that you point out the comparison of the car to the furnace, wow!   You bet your ball zookas people must have passed out working there; with the way that heat eats up oxygen... I don't think they could have paid me enough.   ... Of course, in the dead of winter, it may have been a different story all together and welcomed; the place may have felt cozy then.
