I actually feel more like I'm in drag when I cosplay Chrome then when I cosplay any of the boys that I do. I'm fairly certain it's because in day to day life I never wear make up and though I do dress girly it's in a very different way then when I am Chrome.Photographer:

I just made the skulls out of femo, same for the one on the eye and belt buckle. I stared at the accessories cospa has for sale for chrome and just did my best to mimic them. From there it's just painting them and sticking them on.

But yo do a great job. I don't know the sΓ©ries or the game of the character but it looks so good. ><

The skulls were surprisingly easy, I don't actually have much artistic talent
The photo was taken outside of the Double Tree hotel in Portland, Oregon, it was this random crop of pretty plants and stuff, not really sure how that happened^.^;
And yeah, the spikes are on purpose, they're actually supposed to be thicker and fluffier but I haven't sewn wefts in yet to make that area thick.

I think I get what your saying? And yeah, Chrome's character design is extremely unrealistic, but her younger self (Nagi) is a little bit more realistic, so I'm looking forward to doing that)

I tried making cosplay once 5 years ago, it was really really bad>.< I started making cosplay two years ago.

I think just wigs in general are expensive, regardless of color. They really are needed for a good costume though.

It's noooot!!! I just got the proper accesories for it(instead of my shitty homemade ones) and my wig still needs to be styled properly, and I need to make the skirt fit, and I need to remake the coat and I need to make my staff. THEN it'll be good^.^;;;

My mom found me a mat and one of the games for cheep a long time ago, but it turned out that the game she got was really sucky-.- so I gave it to a friend of mine and kept the snazzy mat for myself
The one that she wears in her battle with the shield card (or if you go by the manga, her first battle with the illusion card. Not really sure why they move those around) I couldn't find any pics^.^;;

Oh I know, my buddy had one and it was awesometastic to the feet. My old house had a hardfloor so that was helpful XD other then that, we needed duct tape to make it stay.
