Not again.Scanner did awful job, like terribliest scanner ever.
But it's not scanner's fault at the end.
Don't get me wrong, I love the results of my scanner. It's simple, cheap HP one, but does a good job on Windows. Most of my art is scanned by my scanner and mostly I'm happy.
However, it's SAME scanner but I scan now on my Macbook... the software is awful. Macbook's HP softwares are like hell. I do not understand that- same scanner, software for win and mac are like two totally different worlds.
This creature design was done as part of Terryl's instruction. I've learned lots value points of it. SkΓΆlh is a fantasy carnivore creature with inspiration of Leonardo's primary anatomy study (reverse anatomy, not regular).
Done by markers.
Original is for sale. In real looks a lot softer, a bit more detailed and natural.

More gorgeous work from you. I would never want for your scanning software to ruin the impact of your work (or your enjoyment of Apple products). If I may, I recommend ditching the HP software for Mac (usually not good) and instead using the built-in software of your computer: Image Capture. That can be found in your Applications folder (you can also type its name into the Spotlight bar in the top right of your screen to launch it). If you have Mac OS 10.4 or higher on your MacBook, you should have this nifty app. This software works with virtually any scanner (like mine which is HP also) and can even work with digital cameras and cell phones, so if you haven't already, check it out. It definitely works much better than HP proprietary software in my opinion. If that does't make a lot of sense, check out Apple's page about it: [link] or look here for a less techy how-to: [link]

Its great. But if you wanna have a high result of scanning and better software, Use Canon RP 300 Photo shot Professional. My friend from Italy use when he draw draw and I must say he is very satisfied with the result that this machine did it. He is pay the price between 600-750$. Anyhow, artwork is great. Try to set up a sharpness on it and probably it will be much better and more natural then before. All you have to do is do the settings of contrast, brightness, colors and sharpness. Great Job. I hope that will help you a lot about you're problem with you're scanner machine. I don't know how much did you pay it, but I'm sure he is doing a good job when scanning of Artwork is in ask.
