When I'm off from commission work, though right now I don't have time for my own personal work, I'm working on pieces that I am calling them "starters". They aren't meant to be on art-to-do queue, nor to be finished straightly from the start- but ones where I take a break from working on art from my list to do, starters are pieces that I travel with, render slowly, taking like from 15mins to 1-2h to render- as well to "keep my old skills". I haven't drew in traditional media in color form for really, really long since a lot of my art works is focused on digital and pencil works projects/commission work recently. This helps me to keep up with... and of course, get some of pleasure drawing :> Or therapy.
I really miss that little enjoyment of drawing. Commission work is not the same as well my portfolio pieces where, despite are personal, but that's something I give my best that are huge pressure for me.

I call them starters. Non-prior pieces to work on, but for free time work. And there is never rush with them. Some of my best pieces... are actually coming from starters, yes, not planned nor expected ones.

I always travel with one starter to render it from time to time.

This one will be a collaboration between me and ~Quinneys . She gave me this piece to color about a year ago or more... personally, for me, I think she is the best werewolf artist that I've seen!
And this is going to be my first fully colored pencil piece... since ages.
