It was fine when I went to sleep. Then I woke up six hours later, and it was on the bottom of the cage.

Came close. I wasn't happy. I moved its sister from her mesh cage to its cage. I recall separating them because they attacked each other. This Species is supposed to be voracious and aggressive. The remaining three Praying Mantises were at the party.

Sometimes they don't, their mother came with another Mantis, which was dying.

The mother of these Nymphs I have now, lived a full life. I turned my back on her and their father for four minutes, and he was in her claws.

But she left two huge crickets half eaten that day. Maybe she was pissed because I kept spraying her with the water bottle, trying to get her to climb down so I could put him in.

She caught him, mating didn't start until his head and both claws were gone.
