i;m actually doing some art of my own inspiration and motivation *gasp!* for a contest...it was very liberating getting to pick whatever i darn well pleased..
and so i chose something totally the opposite of everything else i'm working on right now..
hippos!! XD
this is only half.. on the left there's a whole 'nother hippo that's attacking this one..
people have asked before how i do colored pencils, so i thought maybe this might be helpful.. to see something sorta half-done.

interesting, when i saw the gif the hippo seemed like a girl in a kimino holding out both hands with something in them (hands being the lower jaw pieces jutting from the water)
