i put this together in about an hour for a friend of mine who's always been really sweet to me, and lately she's outdone herself again, alas, i felt inclined to do some thankyou art :}started with colored paper, then a sketch, some watercolors, black ink pen, and white colored pencil...
it was fun.

Aww, very cute picture. Oddly though I keep finding myself looking at the branch instead of the bird. Something about the way the branch was painted just thouroughly fascinates me... and the little feet

I just love how realistic you've made it. It must have been hard to put all of that detail into those feathers. I wish I was that experienced with /any/ type of traditional medium to do that.
