It's just a genetic raptor, though I had in mind Utahraptor and Deinonychus.

I think it's a fictional species, although clearly based on a JP raptor.

It would be more likely for some theropod to evolve the claw through convergent evo. but the thumb on his hand? blech.

Yeah I know they don't have thumbs. Also I think a real one would have more feathers and would have to break it's tall to get it in that position. I did not concern myself with being 100% accurate, I just tried to make it look as good as I could.
