Yeah, it would take another Mega to take him on, and even then it would be really tough. Though I could absolutely see normal 'mons simply tasked with surviving.

I think the malevolent aura would cause Cole to experience a nervous breakdown due to it making him relive his traumatic past. Blaze... Let's not go there.

In there current forms, Cole would probably pull an Isaac Clark, meaning he would be suffering traumatic flashbacks while trying to stay alive in the real world, and Blaze would probably freeze up.
Fully evolved, Cole's situation wouldn't change much, the difference being fighting rather than running, and Blaze... well, if she Mega Evolves, she has the best chance of winning, given the Type advantage.

Noir has experience on his side while Blaze at her core is a kind soul. The type advantage wouldn't matter that much, I believe.

Also, she has to make peace with the fact that she's using her power to destroy, not protect. She has to become an Ubermensch in other words.

That was an interesting search across the internet. And I still couldn't find a clear definition for Ubermensch, but apparently Big Boss and Sonic are examples of them. Someone who carries out their ideals regardless of consequence or morality, right?

They reject the norms of society and live by their own moral code, yes. Noir is above all forms of morality, being only concerned with power.

In that case, Blaze becoming an Ubermensch would essentially make her an "Anti-Noir" given her pursuit of what she believes is right no matter the cost. At that point it would become a battle of ideals, much like the climax of B/W. Which is why she would theoretically stand a better chance in a fight against Noir. Even with more experience and skill, Cole doesn't really have any strong ideals beyond survival.
