Description You might notice that this young and wet Khajiit wears a collar. He is a valuable Khajiit slave, precious to his Telvanni master, but Telvanni being Telvanni, nasty bastabbing tricks come along, and this poor slave was kidnapped. After managing to escape he is now on his way ...to return to his master.
Loyal cats as much as slaves loving their Telvanni master exist thanks to Llerevas.

I've been wanting to draw Port Telvanni for a long time now, and here it's just a far sight, but I think I managed to convey somehow the swampy atmosphere and tangle of plants and mushrooms I imagine.
Drawing wet Khajiit was great, makes me want to draw more

Hi there!
My name is Andrew, and I'm the editor in chief of the Tel Mora Independent Press, a web-based publication dedicated to the sharing and exploration of art and literature created by the Elder Scrolls community! I was wondering if you might allow us to make use of this wonderful image in our next issue? We will of course include adequate credit along with a link to your DeviantArt profile (or another site if you prefer).
If you'd like to see what we're about, feel free to visit us at www.telmoraindependent.net

Thanks!

Want to wrap him up in a towel and give him a hot bowl of soup. Poor guy.

Lovely drawing.

He would analyze the towl and the soup carefully to check it's not poisoned, but accept them kindly after warning you that he cannot be bought and that his master may thank you in some way (insisting on the "may")

Thank you!

Aww, poor fella, he's quite suspicious. Which is pretty understandable.

Goddammit he needs a hug.

I hope I'll get the chance to find some time to write a little more about Llerevas and his slaves someday... =]

Darn good stuff man, loyalty is usually paid well. Usually.

OF course this Khajiit is lucky (pending if the bond between slave and master is symbiotic.)

Thank you very much

The bond is almost symbiotic as the slave was raised to serve this master and no other, his master joy is his joy, his master's sadness is his sadness (though he shall not show pain, Telvanni don't show their feelings). As Telvanni have their own way to communicate their emotions, the slave must have the same mind as the master to understand his desires without a word, hardly a gesture. That's why such a slave is so valuable and considered as jewels (because a Telvanni can't admit to love a slave as a living creature, but the clever slave knows better).

Most welcome.

Damn you really thought this out didn't you? I'm impressed.

The characters I have with a similar relationship were not Telvanni. In fact I don't think I had them even associated with any of the Great Houses.

I admit most of it came in total improvisation, like most stuff I do, beginning just with a situation in which a young Dunmer slave was found and in spite of willing to be freed, he wanted to be delivered to his master. Explaining this strange desire came quickly afterwards

I didn't limit myself to any House either but I had a special love for the Telvanni as they are so... well, Telvanni. I imagined them with all sorts of codes and whatever they could imagine to feel like an elite and prevent the exterior from understanding them.

Sounds cool in a way.

haha yup, I started to enjoy Telvanni before the Dragonborn DLC, but dealing with a specific Sorcerer made me enjoy them even more.
