Finally finished this painting from January It was supposed to be the first digital painting of the year but I got busy with work so it had to be put on hold for quite some time. It was mostly done too, just a few small things were left...don't you just hate having a nearly finished painting lying around for ages?

But here is my lovely photography nerd of an OC Camellia, out and about trying to catch some beautiful pictures in the first dawn of the new year And this time it's a Fuji camera, not a PONY for a change

Honestly this feels like a very special painting for me since I don't think I ever made something quite like this...despite wanting to for quite some time now. And the winter environment too feels special as well. For this one I just focused on the ambiance, the lighting and the overall atmosphere - all things I really love and that made it all the more special. Somehow I find myself relate to Camellia a lot since I too adore cameras, photography and travel. So with her I get to just draw all these things that I personally enjoy a lot~ Definitely looking forward to making more paintings and even some animations of her this year

Done in Photoshop CS6 with a Wacom Intuos Pro. Took around 6 hours in total over a few weeks
