Yay for painting more random experimental stuff again! As much as I like painting nicely rendered and clean stuff [and I really do enjoy painting like that], I'll always really love painting random stuff a lot as well. I guess it's more spontaneous, ya know? I can go crazy with the style, the technique, the look, etc without having to worry about anything much...and this allows many happy accidents to happen as well. Like what happened here! This started off as a quick character doodle and then once I started playing around with textures, it somehow morphed into this But it was really fun to paint, so yeah!

As for updates, I'm starting to work on a rough first draft of Inka 's story [yaay] and also studying more animation and working on my drawing skills in general. And I've also been doodling a lot on my sketchbook like I used to back when I was in highschool...cept back then it was on sheets of paper. I guess once I started buying sketchbooks, somewhere along the way I got a bit too cautious with my sketching and created some kinda block when it came to drawing on it. I'd be worrying too much about making pretty drawings...which makes no sense since that wasn't the point of having a sketchbook -__- I mean in the words of the great Chris Sanders, it'd be a waste if one DIDN'T draw anything on the sketchbook for fear of making crappy drawings. But I've been pushing myself to just doodle/sketch whatever on my sketchbook for quite a while now and I think the cautious vibe kinda left XD Finally hehee. So I feel..hmm more free with my drawing these days I guess. I'm sorry about the late replies, but I'll try my best to reply as much and often as I can. Thanks for stickin around folks, ILU ALL <3
