I don't know if upstate New York actually HAS any bogs, but it just works as a fun descriptor.

I had lots of fun doing the light effects for this one. It made what would've been a girl in a pretty plain witch's costume really have some atmosphere. I think this is the only time I made one of these calendar girls and showing a holiday within that month. Well, normally I have a hard enough time trying to come up with something new for Christmas, 4th of July, Easter, etc, but Halloween gives lots of options since the custom is to dress up like, well, damn near ANYTHING.

But we're into proper Fall now and I LOVE IT! Except it's been a bit rainy... because it always has to be SOMETHING. But for the most part it's been quite nice. Colors haven't really hit yet, those won't peak for about another two weeks.

I've been thinking of doing some Inktober stuff this year, I don't know if I can do every day, though. Nothing as elaborate as I usually make for sure. But we'll see.
