Completed May 17, 2004God, I can't believe it's been a year since I did this one! I'm still very, very proud of it. If you can't already tell, this is most of the Final Fantasy VIII cast as what I would consider their 1980s counterparts.
In 2003 I did FF70s, I may put it up... it's pretty old, and right now I'm finishing up FF60s, so keep an eye out for that one.

I've thought about it. The problem with FFIX is I have NO idea what parallels I could draw between their characters and people from the 1990s.

Maybe you could dress up Kuja as a boy band type, Zidane as a Kurt Kobain/Grunge type, and Garnet/Dagger as Posh Spice? Eiko could be the Bumblebee Girl (from the famous 90's video "No Rain" by Blind Melon). Just look at the internet for some 90s stuff, you'll find inspiration there!

Ah. Well, I haven't played FFIX but I have heard of it. Just off the top of my head, maybe the grunge fad or a Spice Girls reference could work? Hope it helps a little, sorry I can't think of anymore 90's stuff, my head's a little fuzzy

Ah. Thank you. Out of these three decade pieces I like this one the best.
I was still really new to my technique when I did the 70s. I didn't capture the 60s like I wanted. But I love this one.
