So I made one of these before, back in 2013. The idea of some cute girls dancing around in their underwear was a solid idea, but I got the name "Jammy Jams" by plucking out a little tidbit from my cavernous well of golden-age Simpsons quotes. It was just a cute way of saying pajamas that Marge used in one episode (can you tell me which one? No fair searching for it! From memory only!). And it was just a really perfect, cute title.

I didn't plan on it being QUITE so similar in layout and composition, to the point that it's almost a remake. That just kinda happened as I went as I settled on framing and hair colors and outfits and stuff.

I can't remember how far along I was when I had the idea to revisit the black light effect, I think it was around the time I had the girls drawn and was ready to work on the backdrop. It was originally just gonna be one element from each of their outfits with the glow effect, but I just started adding more and stuff and it just kept looking cooler and cooler.

Once I added the bong (now I REALLY want a calico kitty bong!) I decided to REALLY go all out and added a haze of smoke and gave the girls tomato eyes, and just REALLY went crazy with the black light glow. The three of them singing and dancing around in their underwear under black lights makes perfect sense NOW: they're high as FUCK.

I'll put a version of this in my stash (heh-heh.... stash... how apropos) where you can see what it looked like without the black light effect . But I think that's what really made this one pop, so I'd glad I went that extra step.
