So I thought I'd take another try at doing my "Jan-nude-uary" theme for the month. I just like it as a way to get through January, because January SUCKS.

And I went with this idea first because I finally got the driver problem with my Wacom figured out, and I really need to do landscape backgrounds. And since it was well-received last January: fav.me/dcwot7z I thought this would be another good one to do with a girl that's a bit on the thicker side.

Picking the right colors for her cloak and hair took a little trial and error, though. I was trying at first for a deep crimson robe with red hair, but I wasn't digging that. I knew the blue would match the snowy background I intended to make. And I tried changing her hair to both blonde and black. I settled on brown because it matches her boots and the tree in the background. It keeps my color palette more limited.

I'm very pleased with what I've got. Got another cutie to add to the gallery-- one that makes me wanna just get under that cloak with her and wrap it around the both of us and... I mean, um... nothing. Never mind. <_< >_>
