So it's become an annual custom of mine to do a nude pinup for New Year's. But I thought this year I'd keep that theme going. I have a handful of pinup ideas saved up, and they all have one thing in common: they're all ideas for nude pinups. Therefore:

Welcome to Jan-nude-uary!

Okay, it's a stupid, clunky-sounding name, but that's the joke, that's what makes it fun. The naked girls will also make it fun, though, and let's get talking about this one!

I don't know how to be more delicate, but I drew a bit of a bigger girl than normally do. The problem is every word I wanna use to describe her body type here has been hijacked and turned into a euphemism for being legit obese, as in, like... spherical. And this girl is CLEARLY not that.

Let's go with thicc, that's very in right now. ^_^ Now, it wasn't meant to be some progressive statement, it's just that the girl in the photo I saw that made we wanna do this pose was full-figured herself, and I just thought "Yeah, why not? She'll look wicked cute!"

I've gotten praised in the past for not making my pinup girls like anorexic-level thin, but that's just because I never found that very attractive. Again, I was never trying to make some social commentary there, I just always drew the type of women I find attractive and I'm doing likewise here.

I got her body pretty much exactly how I wanted it without a whole lot of erasing and trying stuff again. I checked a couple guides and tutorials, but I mostly went by instinct and I think I added the extra fullness in all the right spots. I think I gave her a very nice, feminine figure... just a bit more of it! Someone to curl up and get warm with on a dreary, snowy winter day for sure. ^_^

So, still early in January. More au natural cuties to come in the next few weeks!
