No, I believe it is Indricotherium...

Heh, I remember seeing this animal menacing our earliest ancestors in "Walking With Beasts".

I really wish there were more megafauna around today.

They also lived in Europe too? And what parts?

The holotype of the genus is from Germany. Deinotherium has been reported in many places elsewhere including Romania and Crete.

I always imagine the trunk having been longer.
Odd.

The length of the trunk is actually totally unknown...

Of course, but, it's mentioned (in Wikipedia, at least) that the large, and recessed nasal orbit suggested a large trunk.
Hmmmm.

A large trunk yes... as depicted here.

Another one would be how would it get it through the airport security?

That's a common misconception with Deinotherium. Just because elephants have a long trunk doesn't mean all elephant relatives did. Deinotherium's skull juts out over the nasal cavity, and it probably had a more tapir-like fleshy upper lip, depicted here.

True, but, I would think that a (small) trunk would facilitate greater ease in stripping leaves from branches, unless they bit the leaves off.
