Description Eurhinosaurus longirostris was a 2 meter long ichthyosaur that lived during the Early Jurassic. Remains of this animal have been found in Germany. It is characterized by an upper jaw twice as long as the lower jaw giving it the aspect of a swordfish. This is a refurbished digitally enhanced old drawing from January 2007.
