Description I have wanted to do something like this for a long time. In 2011 I went to a Civil War re-enactment and took a number of photo's since then I have looked for but never found just the right way to represent them. Every few months I would look at them and play with them but nothing ever quite "worked".

Then this January it was very foggy for about a week; so one morning around 7:00AM I went off to the dikes near our home (the west coast of Canada) and spend about 3 hours taking photos ... it was very cold, damp, lonely and more than a wee bit spooky but I had a wonderful time (although I did just about freeze my fingers off).

When I took this picture I thought I perhaps had the image I was looking for ... when got home and saw it full size I was sure it was right for my internal vision ... this deviation is the results.

Thanks Dani ... the foggy day photo was fun to work with and it was interesting to see what I could do with it ;D It was a blast taking the photos, I just wish I could have gotten more!
