's Emma is really quite fond of Victor

... he's not so sure how he feels about that.

I really wanted to put these two in a situation to inspire good face-making.

~manga-ranga and I have a very different style. Very different. Now, I'm not saying one is better than the other ... at all. We just see the same thing in different ways. And this is why I love her characters so much. They actually challenge me and push my "standard figures" and teach me to try something new. In this case? Snake hair and very dark skin. I remember trying both when I was younger and making a complete mess of things. This gave me a chance to re-visit things I had given up on.

I can also appreciate that ~manga-ranga just lets my style be what it is. She doesn't get bent out of shape if it doesn't look *exactly* like the examples given. I'm true to the visual guides of each character and appreciate their lovely and *ahem* twisted nature enough to not want to change them. I want them to be, in my eyes, what they are in her's ... if that makes any sense.

I really grew to like these two in the process. I wish I had a good story to tell here, but Emma spent most of the time smiling and explaining which snake was which and what interesting habits they had ... while Victor spent his time avoiding said snakes and carefully watching what I was doing.
