The best advice I've got is to find what tools/medium suit you and keep working at it. Getting familiar with the tools makes it easier and more enjoyable.
And I'm learning that drawing freely/not being a perfectionist is the way to go XD

It is important to draw freely. I love to draw but I want to learn some techniques to draw awesome stuff my tutor does get upset with me when I want to sit there and practice drawing circles cause I want to make a really good circle!!
