Not a very historically correct(at all) picture inspired by nomadic culture of Kazakhstan. I reeeally love the ?visual aspect? of kazakh culture: ornaments, armour, clothes, jewellery. Especially bride's clothing. A big hat on a girl is called saukele, I spent the most time working on it. Also I had to redo the guy because he looked ugly+the armour was not historically correct (it was a strange mix of lamellar and plate armour). My friend with deeper knowledge in history recommended me to draw the lamellar armour because it was more typical for mid-asian steppe warriors. Though eventually I came up with mirror armour lol (cause It is easier to draw ). What a cruel b*#!ch I am, he doesn't even have a chain mail on him
By the way, this piece kinda has a ?plot? The guy has to go to war right after the wedding and his young wife is seeing him off. One of my friends noted how naive the horse looked before going to war   poor horse
