I'm not exactly thrilled with the way this turned out, but I'll make myself an exception since I'm still learning about Photoshop and photography. The coloring really didn't turn out that great, since the chains look bronzed because of the lighting (which I'll try to improve next time) while they're really a very shiny silver. But I'll accept this pic as a first try and keep looking for a better way to get the perfect shot. Hopefully I'll be able to post a better shot of this necklace soon.Sterling silver plated; strictly copyrighted

What kind of stone/crystal is in the center?

It's actually not really a 'crystal'... it's a plastic imitation of a mystic fire stone. The real thing tends to be much more expensive, and this plastic version also fit nicely into the center of the medallion.

Seriously, I don't have circular frames like that to do the wire wrapping on. But the principle is actually very elementary.

My only critique on the actual picture is that it looks like the focus is on the chain rather than the medallion, which seems a little blurry to me.
The actual set up its self looks really professional, the black background is perfect

I like the way you made the medallion, all that wire wrapping that looks like a sunburst. A bit big for me to wear, but it'd also be great in a window catching sun. *grins at that thought in happiness*
