Nalleli is the type to be absolutely certain in many things; appearance, skills, and other's opinions of her. Actually, it is more likely that she just doesn't care of others opinions, much less personal space. For this reason, she can come across as brazen and full of confidence. Despite this seeming oblivious disregard of other's opinions; however, Nalleli does hide an awareness of others motivations and issues that suggest an underlying shrewdness despite her antics.
It is reasonable that one might think Nalleli to be uncaring or flippant in times of misfortune but this is do more to her lack of understanding on how to behave in these situations. At times like these she shrugs off troubles, her own and others or worse yet she tries poorly to help others solve their problems. On the flip side of this coin is that she can be a playful and kind person, often a welcoming and noisy presence who values friendship even where she may fail.
Should someone find her bad side, she is the sort to become at first sassy, throwing the mean spirit of a person right back at them but let it continue and she grows icy and distant. However, mending a relationship is not impossible, as Nalleli believes in second chances if the person in question can prove they regret their actions. The icy and distant aspect is part of a lesser seen trait, which is her ability to function well in stressful situations.

History

Nalleli grew up in a region outside of Inkopolis where inklings and octolings lived at odds, many of the Inklings taking up a more traditional lifestyle where they avoided most newer electronics, keeping to "traditional" clothing choices, and avoiding association with octolings. This was the world Nalleli was brought up in, stifled and isolated in many regards for much of her life. In her youth, she had a fear of being different, of embracing the parts of herself that come naturally and for good reasons. Her parents represented the extremes of the deeply entrenched thoughts of the inkling community and as Nalleli grew and took in the thoughts and views of peer who were less isolated in information about the world she began to feel a gap forming between her own beliefs and theirs.

In her teens, the dispute between octolings and inklings came to a head and nalleli took up on the side of the octolings with many of the younger inklings of the area. During this resistance she fought in several battles, picking up a charger and finding an affinity for the weapon. Nalleli herself spent much more time with the resistance fighters than her own family and slowly began to grow distant but when home she always kept an ear open for any information on their moves against the resistance. Eventually, when given the opportunity to rat them out she jumped at it and her information had them arrested and the efforts of the traditionalist inklings falling apart.

Now Nalleli was left without the support of family and no desire to linger in the area after all that had happened. So, she essentially vanished without a word to her friends from the resistance, off to Rio where she found a group of young homeless squids who were taking residence in an abandoned warehouse. She joined them and with some effort they began to develop and transform the place into a home for what would eventually become a second family. This new family did now question her and slowly Nalleli grew into her current self, embracing all the parts of herself she had once been afraid of and to some extent even growing to not care of other's opinions. A strong woman who would not be swayed from her goals and began to learn much about the world her parents had hid her away from.

One of her discoveries was the desire to become a battler, to pick up a charger once again and use it to fight once more, but this time for her own leisure rather than a desire to protect those who needed it. She began to move forward with the goal of finding a squad to join and chase her goals.
