Description Modded nerf maverick.

I was originally going to do a carbine mod to an alpha trooper...That idea got lost in the mix somehow?...Hmmm?

What did you use to extend the barrel?

The forend is an alha trooper forend w/o the extended muzzle & hand pump.

Does it disconnect from the Alha or did you have to saw it off or something?

Sawed it off with a disposable wood saw, then sanded the edges before sticking it on. You have to take the Alpha arart first to salvage the barrel & to make it easier to saw the forend peices off.

Cool, so im gessing it shoots ok or is it just a prop?

All mine are inert props. I'm sure some clever cloggs could rig one to fire, but i like to rip out the innards for spare parts

Sorry for asking so many questions but did you hot glue the barrel on?

No worries. Haven't got hot glue, just Gorilla super glue. Sometimes Gorilla glue too, if i want something thicker out of sight.

I work with the minimum of rudimentary tools compared to the others on here. Both of my Stanley knives are knackered so i'm currently using a Stanley blade half wrapped in masking tape. Not ideal, but i'm muddling through

Like any super glue they're temperamental, but it's not too shabby

Definately a personal favourite. Been wanting to do a 'proper' Mav for ages.

Still umming-&-ahhing whether to put on a folding wooden foregrip, or a bipod. Though how to make either is another question entirely!

Did have a thought last night whether to scratch "Have a bad day!" on the fore-end.
