Lovely! I love the colors! Is it true that the most beautiful part of a Geisha is their neck(supposedly)? Just wondering cuz I read it in this book thats SUPPOSE to be historically acurate called... Demon in the Teahouse?

Well actually im portuguese and Portugal, as far as i know, was the first western country to reach Japan. Unfortunately, nowadays there isnt any relation between these two countries. But i still have great interest on your culture.

You’re very welcome and you are quit right about the history. Portuguese traders and missionaries came to Japan during the sixteenth century and it was the first time that Japan had visitors from a western country. They came before the sakoku ("closed country") policy started. You can see the western influence from those days, if you visit some cities in southern Japan. Your interest in old Japanese culture appears in your artwork and they are enjoyable to look at. I bet you have seen many Japanese "jidai-geki" (samurai movies)
