Genesis Chapter Three: The Fall of Man

9 And the Lord God called unto Adam and said unto him, Where art though?

10 And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.

11 And He said, Who told thee that though wast naked? Hast though eaten of the tree whereof I commanded thee that though shoulest not eat?

12 And the man said, The woman whom though gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree and I did eat.

17 And unto Adam He said, because thou has hearked unto the voice of thywife and hast eaten of the tree which I commanded thee saying, Though shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt though eat of it all the days of thy life.
