So I just realized that once I've finished Taurus then I'll have done a sign from each element. Strangely, I'm going in order..
Leo
Leo's are well known for their dominant personalities and leadership skills. Leo's are extroverted, social and have a demanding aura.
To capture these traits I drew Leo as a masculine and powerful force, facing straight and with the right hand raised. The right hand is an ancient symbolic symbol of masculine and solar power. Leo's governing planet is the sun, therefore encouraging the solar emphasis in the drawing. Leo also governs the heart and the back and spine. These traits were drawn as the assertive and unbending 'iron spine' that surrounds Leo, the heart protruding to show Leo's openness and social behavior. The reigning flower of Leo is the sunflower, and snakes are attributed to leo as well, being the symbol of fire. Yellow/orange/gold are the governing colors of leo.
Oh yes, and by the way, Leo is the most active of the fire signs. lul.
Taurus is next!
