The vampire boys got their moment, now it's Yvain's turn ^^ <3I hope his admirers like this ^^ hee
I really draw him too rarely!
I don't know what it is about this picture, but as simple as it is, I _love_ how it turned out!
... He still refuses to smile
And he has a new haircut. Love it? Hate it?
I like it. And it's easier to deal with his wings. no hair/wing tangles
The leather-strap things on him are not bondage gear. XP They are there to support the weight of his wings=wingbra. His back/shoulders are always aching because the wings weight too much, so he uses this thingy to ease the weight a little from his muscles.
Oh and always mistakes him for an angel: He isn't. He is working for the "higher powers" but he's not an angel, he's a spirit. Woken from death to act as a guide, guardian and a judge ^^

It's been a long time since I drew anything with colored pencils. ^__^ This took about 4 hours.
And yes. I made his wings too small. They should be taller and bigger and look like they could actually carry his weight. Ugh.

Hmm... It think those wings would looks bit better if they (and the feathers) had more realistic shape. And placement. Of course flaming sort of feathers are cool but now they look bit too much like hair extensions that have implanted themselves in his neck. Well, I can always redline it if you wish.
The wingbra idea is wonderful, I haven`t heard that before.

I agree. I have big trouble making realistic wings, especially without reference. And somehow I always end up making them look like they could never carry anyone.

ItΒ΄s helpful if you remember that wing has pretty much same bone structure as human arm.

Also it could be available in many different colours and patterns!
Some might also use a push-up wingbra.

After drawing this... I was in our manga club so I had to stop and go home. Unfortunately I don't have much time to draw anymore.
But drawing for four hours is a very short time for me.
When I start to draw/paint seriously, I usually spend at least 8 hours on the painting, sometimes 12. ^_^
And a few times I've spent up to 4 days painting, only quickly eating (while painting) and sleeping (6 hours/night) and then continuing painting again

your welcome ^^ Well, I'm glad you asked... in my world, fire spirits are a bit short-tempered creatures, even the most quick witted shaman has to be carefull of what he says, if he doesn't want to get a rare ugly reminder of their wrath. Anyway, the elemental spirits of fire are very wise, and they are the keepers of many secrets as well. When called to the material world, they prefer to look like a black giant with hair, and beard that are like wild flames, sparkling red eyes, and they are surrounded by almost deadly waves of heat. Well, i think that's about it in a nutshell, i hope it wasn't too long/boring, etc. ^^
