*ecxuse the title*
This is a fire spirit: Firewing named Yvain.
The reason he is standing in a huge forge is that he is being bunished.
He is a firespirit, send to the world to guide people and control wizards who's element is fire. He used his power wrong, by trying to wake the vampire Shaya's heart to life. To bunish him the other spirits are taking away his wings... which is happening here, the wings are burning away.
Poor guy... he's suffering... but as his element is fire, he doesnt actually feel the fire, it just burns his wings away...
I was going to put up the picture of Shaya and firewing as he was trying to woke her heart, but its still not finished... been making that picture for 2 months now... argh... so now they are in the wrong order...
I am also going to make a coloured version of this, but now that I have been working on this for 2 days, I had to put this up.
Oh, And I actually kind of made a background... I'm soo broud of myself

Wow, this is pretty impressive. I especially like his face and hair and the detail in the chains. His trousers look absolutely great and the background suits the drawing just perfectly. Simply lovely.

I've never actually tried drawing chains, but I'm sure if I ever tried, I'd just give up after a while. They look so difficult to do.. x_x
