A stock photo is a photo you can use with out asking permission, to draw from ,use as a refence, or maybe a photo manlipition......
you only might have to ask printing permission if you ever wanted to make it into a a print, just make sure you ALWAYS link back to either the original picture or the stock-artist's DA page.
{and you could also send them a note {or comment} so they know you've used their picture... most stock photo's are used for pose ref's or Photo malip,.....but sometimes you may get portrate ones, or/and what not.
:just type in stock photos.
just browse stock photo's and see what you get some not so good, some are ,you just have to keep searching , ^_^
don't worry i was confused as to what a stock photo was the first time ,i'id heard it.
