An art trade with ~kosmonauttihai ! Sorry for taking it that long, but there were some art works in queue...

So, Kosmonauttihai asked me to draw Moegi from Naruto series and Witch (Noita) from Moomins (Muumit) series. I believe that the idea stirred up from a conversation I had with her when I commented that work [link] of her... (She is an excellent artist, btw, and I'm honored for having an art trade with her.)

Stylish result, again! But why Moegi's hairdo always brings to my mind Witch from Moomins...?

HAA! She really has Witch's hair! Even with the same color! They are probably related.

They must be! I wonder if Moegi is Alice's (=Witch's granddaughter) cousin or something. Well, there is not a big difference between ninja stuff and witch stuff... both have funny tricks.

Practically, they are the same thing! Here is a famed ninja clan called Noitanen (Witchberg?) whose kekkei genkai is flying by a broom. They can also walk on the water, but that is just basic ninja stuff.

Unfortunatelly, the youngest members of the clan tend to befriend with light-colored, big-nosed creatures, which the elder clan members don't approve...

With light-colored, big-nosed...?

So, who still can claim that Naruto characters have no Finnish roots?

Oh, and about Witch for the ones that don't know Moomins well...

Witch is an old woman living in a Witch Forest next to Moomin Valley. She is not evil though she is a cranky witch, but she doesn't like Moomins since they are so good-hearted. She has a granddaughter called Alice (swe Alisa, fin Aliisa) that is a witch-in-training. Witch doesn't like that Alice is constantly going to Moomin Valley to play with Moomintroll and his friends, since the granny is wishing that the granddaughter concentrates on her witchcraft studies. One point, Witch goes even that far that she sets a sleeping charm on Moomins and removes it when Alice promises not to visit Moomin Valley again. However, Moomintroll and his friends come to Witch Forest to play with Alice instead Also, Witch has occasionally saved Moomins and their friends from troubles.

And I presume that many people know Moegi.
